Yakutia prepares for International Science Games

Yakutsk is expecting to host the face-to face stage of the Yakutia International Science Games 2022 in June. It will consist of three key events: The International Research School (IRS), Yakutsk International Science Fair, International Tuymaada Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science.

According to the General Director of the Trust Fund for Future Generations, Vice-Chairman of the Games Organising Committee, the remote first stage is coming to an end. It is attended by more than 1200 children from 80 regions of Russia and several countries. The participatns performed open-type tasks, studying the world around them. implementing research plans in seven areas of their choice: wildlife, non-living nature, interaction between living and non-living nature, human and society, etc.

“These tasks allowed students to master various ways of self-knowledge and make small discoveries in the world around themselves. First International Science Games were held in Yakutia in 2018 with the coverage of schoolchildren from more than 40 countries and 18 regions of Russia.
